Description
Nono Daichi is a supporting character in the crossover film Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki!-. Originally introduced as a main character in the fourth season of the Aikatsu! television series and in Aikatsu on Parade!, she appears in the movie as one of the Starlight School idols who take part in the joint festival with the PriPara idols from Para Lodge.
Nono hails from Hokkaido, where her family runs a farm. Her upbringing in a rural environment contributes to her down-to-earth, cheerful, and carefree personality. She is a sexy-type idol, yet her demeanor is notably bright and easygoing, resembling that of a pop or cute-type idol rather than the more mature or intense style often associated with the sexy category. Her natural friendliness and lack of pretension make her approachable to both fellow idols and audiences.
Her motivation to become an idol stems from a lifelong love of singing in front of others. She began her idol career after meeting Akari Ozora, who inspired her to take the stage at Starlight Academy. Nono is not driven by rivalry or ambition for fame; instead, she genuinely enjoys expressing herself through music and bringing joy to people. In the movie, she joins the larger collaboration event that brings together idols from the Aikatsu! and PriPara universes, and her role is to support the main protagonists, Akari and Laala Manaka, as they work to solve a mysterious problem threatening the outside world. She contributes her cheerful energy and team spirit during the festival performances.
Nono’s key relationships within the Aikatsu! side include her close friends and fellow Starlight students such as Akari Ozora, Risa Shirakaba, and the other members of her generation. In the movie, she interacts with PriPara characters for the first time, forming temporary bonds through the shared excitement of the collaborative event. Her development is subtle; she remains a steady, supportive presence who reinforces the theme of friendship across different idol worlds.
Her notable abilities lie in her performance style. She is a skilled singer and dancer, and her specialty brand is Dolly Devil, which she uses to craft her stage outfits. Her signature charm is her ability to radiate warmth and energy on stage, making her performances feel inviting rather than distant. While not a central figure in the movie’s plot, Nono embodies the crossover’s spirit of connection and celebration.
