Description
Kosei Yuzawa is a yakuza character from the series, serving as the second-generation leader of the Takemoto Group operating in Kabukicho. He is a giant man with long black hair tied at the nape of his neck, and his back bears a tattoo of Aizen Myo-o, the guardian deity said to oversee love, family, and passion. Yuzawa holds a deep nostalgia for the old, good days of the yakuza way of life and strongly dislikes the frivolous and superficial nature of modern Kabukicho. His dissatisfaction with contemporary society is more general and vague compared to the deeper personal grudges held by other members of the Eight Extremes. This outlook stems from a lonely and impoverished childhood, which Yuzawa attributes to his unfortunate circumstances in what he calls the parent lottery. Inside the yakuza faction, Yuzawa is a loyal and devoted follower of the main yakuza leader, acting as a trusted right-hand man and aide. He deeply respects and serves this leader, and his straightforward, durable fighting style reflects his unwavering commitment. His yakuza technique, the Yakuza Train Road, is a simple but powerful charging attack that takes full advantage of his exceptionally tough and resilient body. Throughout the story, Yuzawa remains a steadfast presence within the yakuza ranks, driven by a desire to restore the honor and order of the past and to push back against what he sees as the degradation of the modern world.
