Description
Orhun Dula, also rendered in some English materials as Orun Dula or Orhun Dura, is the main protagonist of the anime Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None. He is a nineteen-year-old human from the Nohitant Kingdom. In appearance, he is a young man of average height with a lean, well-trained build shaped by years of dungeon exploration. He has short, slightly tousled dark hair and sharp blue eyes, and his usual outfit consists of a long dark coat with subtle light trim, a fitted dark shirt, practical trousers, and fingerless gloves, with a sword worn at his side. His clothing is designed for function, mobility, and combat readiness rather than decoration.

As a child, Orhun possessed unusual abilities that made others around him afraid, which left him with a deep sense of loneliness. To protect him, his parents sealed those abilities. Later, he joined the Hero Party led by his childhood friend Oliver, having originally trained as a swordsman. Because the party needed a specific kind of support, he adapted to the role of an enchanter, handling equipment maintenance, healing, enhancement magic, and direct combat as the situation demanded. Over time, he developed several original enhancement spells, a feat that most enchanters are unable to achieve, and his support played a major part in helping the Hero Party reach high floors in the dungeons. In spite of this, his teammates came to see his broad range of skills as unfocused. Because he could use many different abilities competently without specializing in a single one, they dismissed him as a jack-of-all-trades. The party leader Oliver eventually expelled him, with the support of fellow members Anneli and Derrick, on the grounds that his skills were lacking, and he was replaced by an enchanter believed to be stronger. The decision was connected to Selma Claudel, the continent's most powerful enchanter, after Oliver concluded that the party needed an enchanter of that level.

In personality, Orhun is calm, humble, and thoughtful. He tends to believe he is simply average compared to others, rarely seeks attention, and prefers to support those around him quietly from behind the scenes. He is highly responsible and cautious, and he strongly dislikes reckless behavior. Despite being deeply hurt by his expulsion from the Hero Party, he does not become bitter. Instead, he carries a quiet determination, a generous nature, and a strong desire to protect the people he cares about. He is also pragmatic and resilient, choosing to focus on his own growth rather than dwell on resentment. He is a natural strategist who can read a battlefield and adapt his magic and swordsmanship in real time.

After being cast out, Orhun decides to start over as an adventurer, returning to his original role as a swordsman while keeping the knowledge and spells he gained from his time as an enchanter. This combination allows him to create a highly flexible fighting style. His motivations at this stage center on exploring dungeons, surviving on his own, and mastering techniques that let him stand alone. While adventuring, he rescues a young woman named Sophia Claudel, who had been abandoned by another party during an orc attack. Sophia turns out to be a member of the Night Sky Silver Rabbits, the largest clan in the Nohitant Kingdom, and the sister of Selma Claudel. Selma remembers Orhun from an earlier dungeon raid and offers him the chance to instruct new recruits on an expedition to the fiftieth floor of the Great South Dungeon. Through this connection, Orhun eventually joins the Night Sky Silver Rabbits, a group that recognizes his true value and gives him a sense of belonging. His role in the story grows from that of a discarded support member into a recognized hero, including acknowledgment as a dragon-slaying warrior. After his departure, the former Hero Party begins to crumble, as none of the specialists who replaced him are able to cover the logistical, strategic, and support gaps he had filled.

The key relationships in Orhun's life shape his journey. Oliver is his childhood friend and the leader who expels him, and their shared history gives the betrayal a personal weight. Anneli and Derrick are former comrades who endorse his removal and look down on his versatility. Sophia Claudel is the young adventurer he saves, and she serves as the bridge to the Night Sky Silver Rabbits. Selma Claudel is one of the first people to recognize his skill and offers him a new path. The members of the Night Sky Silver Rabbits become the community where his talents are finally valued.

In terms of development, Orhun moves from a lonely child whose abilities were sealed away, to an overlooked support member, to an independent swordsman, and finally to a valued member of a clan. His journey illustrates that a balanced and intelligent fighter can surpass raw specialization by applying the right technique at the right moment. A childhood oath to protect everyone he cares about stays with him throughout, and as he builds new connections, that promise becomes central to who he is.

Orhun's notable abilities stem from his versatility rather than any single overwhelming power. He can learn and use a wide range of skills quickly, combine magic of different elements at the same time, and modify standard spells using his strong knowledge of magical theory. His reinforcement magic enhances his speed, strength, and perception, making him a capable frontline combatant, while his sharp analytical mind lets him identify the weaknesses of monsters and enemy magic within moments of observation. By fusing swordsmanship with enchantment magic, he developed his own fighting style that allows him to adapt to nearly any situation, which is the quality that ultimately defines him.
