Matsuri Yukino, daughter of a shaman, serves as a shaman apprentice on Axio Island. She is the half-sister of Yukari Morita and works alongside her as an astronaut combating the alien threat known as the Firow. Matsuri exhibits an optimistic personality with a naturally airheaded "boke" demeanor, yet supports her friends using survival knowledge and animal-like intuition drawn from her shaman heritage. She possesses exceptional physical fitness, holding the highest anti-G test endurance among her astronaut peers at 13G. Her intuitive abilities, rooted in Tariho's traditional animism, sometimes create friction with colleagues and SSA staff but frequently align unexpectedly with reality. Matsuri also employs a unique skill resembling hypnosis or "magic," such as deceiving maintenance staff to smuggle snacks onto spacecraft.
