TV-Series
Description
Maya Biggs is a former United States special forces operative who was also an undefeated national champion in martial arts before the petrification event. She is physically imposing, possessing a large, muscular build, an olive complexion, and long curly black hair. Her personality is boisterous and generally pleasant, though she has a limited understanding of science and relies primarily on her physicality. She has a bottomless appetite for meat and will often be seen with food in her hands; in her youth, she spent her entire early-retirement savings on food and joined the military on the condition that she be kept fed.
During her service as a soldier in the American Colony under Dr. Xeno, Maya acted as an enforcer and was part of Stanley Snyder’s squad. Following the second worldwide petrification, she was depetrified and subsequently sided with the Kingdom of Science. Her immense strength and combat experience made her a valuable member of the Kingdom’s Power Team, where she contributed physical labor and security during the construction of the spaceship required to reach the moon. Notable abilities include her elite martial arts skills, special forces training, and raw physical power, which allow her to overpower most opponents in close combat.
Throughout her role in the story, Maya transitions from an antagonist aligned with Xeno to a cooperative ally, working alongside characters such as Gen, Kohaku, and the other Kingdom of Science members. Her development is marked by her willingness to apply her strength toward the shared goal of space exploration, even though she does not grasp the scientific principles behind it. Her primary motivation is food, but she also demonstrates loyalty to whichever group can provide it and treat her fairly.
