Nadeshiko Iwaizuki is the current Agent of Autumn in the world of Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring. She is a young living goddess who holds the seat of autumn at just eight years old, making her the youngest and shortest‑serving of the four seasonal agents. She possesses the extraordinary ability of Life Corruption, also referred to as Life Decay or Vital Energy Decomposition, which allows her to manifest the power of autumn. Physically, she has short, curly brown hair and eyes that appear perpetually half‑closed. Her typical attire includes a kimono and haori, reflecting a traditional aesthetic.

In terms of personality, Nadeshiko is gentle, intelligent, and dignified beyond her years, yet she retains the innocence and occasional complaints of a normal child, such as expressing displeasure at being treated like a child. She refers to herself using the formal watakushi or simply by her own name, Nadeshiko. Her motivations are closely tied to her role as an agent: she bears the responsibility of maintaining the seasonal cycle alongside the other agents and their guards. She harbors deep trust and affection for her guard, Rindo Azami, with whom she shares a bond of codependency that is common among agents and their protectors.

Nadeshiko serves as a supporting character in the Dance of Spring narrative arc, but she becomes a central protagonist in the later Dance of Autumn arc. Her story involves a peaceful life with Rindo that is shattered when they are attacked by insurgents—the same group that kidnapped the Agent of Spring a decade prior. During this incident, their villa is destroyed, and Nadeshiko is severely injured.
