Description
Sakon initially poses as a chauffeur for Daranimaru Goryo, a corrupt magical law enforcer commanding the Goryo Group Syndicate, while covertly serving as an assistant judge tasked with monitoring Goryo’s activities. When Goryo’s former mentor, Tomas, confronts the syndicate, Sakon retreats to regroup surviving members as Goryo faces capture.
After parasitic worms from Tomas mutate Goryo into a ghoulish entity, Sakon resolves to euthanize him with a wakizashi, deeming it a merciful end. Ebisu, a fellow syndicate member, intervenes, challenging Sakon’s rigid adherence to duty over personal loyalty. This clash underscores Sakon’s struggle to balance magical law protocols with his connection to Goryo amid escalating moral ambiguity.
Following the syndicate’s collapse and Goryo’s subsequent redemption post-rescue, Sakon’s exact role remains undefined. His decisions during the crisis exemplify a detached commitment to supernatural jurisprudence, choosing systemic order over emotional intervention when confronting irreversible corruption.
