Description
Kakeru Yashio is a character from the anime MF Ghost and participates as a racer in the MFG competition. He is the blood-related sibling of fellow racer Nozomi Kitahara, and together they are known as the Yajikita Siblings. Physically, Kakeru has brown hair that reaches his ears and brown eyes.

As a competitor, Kakeru drives the number 16 Lotus Exige or Emira. His performance in the series has placed him mid-pack among the racers, holding the 15th position in the standings after the fourth round of the season. He has demonstrated a degree of consistency, having achieved 12th place finishes in three out of five races.

In terms of personality, Kakeru is portrayed as having a pragmatic and financially-minded outlook, earning him the description of a money man. This trait is most evident in his reactions to his sister's schemes, such as her proposal for a financial merger through marriage. When Nozomi suggests that she should marry the protagonist Kanata Livington so that the three of them could earn money together as the Three Yajikita Siblings, Kakeru finds himself almost convinced by the logic of the plan.

His primary motivation concerning the central plot stems from his protective or perhaps envious feelings regarding his sister. Kakeru has been paying close attention to Kanata since the opening round of the competition, largely because he dislikes the fact that Nozomi has become so attached to the new driver. This sibling dynamic forms the core of his personal investment in the story, making his relationship with his sister a key driver of his actions.

A notable ability of Kakeru and Nozomi is their expertise in formation driving, a specialized skill that they execute effectively as a pair. This teamwork distinguishes them from many other solo-focused competitors in the series. Throughout the story, Kakeru shows little in the way of dramatic personal development, remaining a consistent mid-tier competitor who is primarily concerned with his sister's interests and their shared financial future.
