Description
Annie Oh is a character who appears in the animated series The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, specifically making her debut in the episode Edge of Darkness. She is a resident of the planet Ozark, a world whose inhabitants are known for having no tolerance for off-worlders and a deep-seated distrust of outsiders.

When the Ranger known as Goose is pulled through a wormhole and crash-lands on Ozark, he finds himself unable to control his morphing abilities. It is at this moment that Annie Oh is heard crying for help, as she is being attacked by a dinosaur. Goose transforms into a monster to save her, demonstrating that his protective instincts remain strong even when his powers are unstable.

Following the rescue, Annie Oh displays a notable sense of compassion and moral courage that sets her apart from her fellow citizens. Despite the prevailing xenophobia on Ozark, she chooses to shield Goose from the other inhabitants, protecting him from people who would show him no mercy simply for being an off-worlder. Her actions provide Goose with a crucial lifeline, allowing him time to recover until the other Rangers can track him down and effect a proper rescue. The series also establishes a broader context for its female characters, often portraying them as strong and independent figures who do not need to be rescued, a trait that aligns with Annie Oh's proactive decision to protect her savior rather than simply waiting for further help.
