Description
Purirun, also known as Purin Tanaka and Cure Zukyoon in the anime You and Idol Precure♪, is a fairy from the shining realm of Kirakiland who becomes a central companion and later a full-fledged heroine. She arrives on Earth after her homeland is cast into darkness by the villain Darkine, traveling inside a large peach that floats down a river in Hanamichi Town, where she is found by the main protagonist Uta Sakura. Her stated mission is to locate the legendary savior known as the Idol Precure, and she joins Uta on that search before it becomes clear that Uta herself is the destined idol.
In her natural fairy form, Purirun is small and plush-like, with ivory-colored fur, a pink belly, and a wing-shaped tail. Her personality is relaxed, self-paced, and easygoing, and she ends her sentences with the verbal tic "puri." She comes across as somewhat childlike and playful, with a stubborn streak and a habit of getting her way through cuteness, and she has a notably large appetite, favoring octopus-shaped sausages.
