Description
Mariabell is a dark elf from a fantasy world where her kind is persecuted by humans. Growing up as a target of prejudice and oppression, she developed a deep distrust and hatred towards humans. Her life changes when she meets Hinata Sunohara, a young man who had been summoned to her world as a hero. Hinata treats her with genuine kindness and protects her, which stirs feelings of sympathy and eventually love within her. After their party defeats the Demon Lord, Hinata is sent back to Earth, but Mariabell's attachment to him drives her to follow him, teleporting into his apartment to declare her intent to be with him forever.

Mariabell is a serious and proud sorceress, determined to achieve her goals. She is fiercely possessive of Hinata and becomes intensely jealous of any female who shows interest in him, often reacting with murderous intent. Despite this, she is not one-dimensional; she is open to learning about the human world and even accepts advice, showing a capacity for growth. Her obsessive love is the central driving force of the story, as she pursues Hinata relentlessly while he tries to adapt to her presence in his daily life.

In the narrative, Mariabell serves as the main heroine and romantic interest. Her arrival triggers the reverse-isekai premise, blending fantasy elements with everyday school life. Beyond her romantic pursuit, her role involves adjusting to Earth, protecting Hinata from perceived threats, and interacting with other characters such as Sakura Mochida, a classmate who also likes Hinata, and former party members Mei and Cecile, who later come to the human world as well. Over time, she begins to understand human society better, though her core possessive nature remains.

As a dark elf, Mariabell possesses magical abilities, including teleportation and sorcery. Her powers are formidable, but she primarily uses them in service of her love for Hinata or to intimidate rivals. Her yandere tendencies make her a source of both comedy and tension, as her reactions range from seductive to dangerously jealous. Her background as a former slave and victim of persecution adds depth to her character, explaining why Hinata's kindness meant so much to her and why she clings to him so tightly.
