Description
The character known during the Workshop Battle arc as Jue Viole Grace is the altered identity of the protagonist, Twenty-Fifth Bam. Following the devastating betrayal at the end of the first season, where his closest companion, Rachel, pushed him into an abyss, Bam was presumed dead. In reality, he was rescued and taken in by FUG, a powerful and clandestine criminal organization opposed to the ruling powers of the Tower. To conceal his true identity and forge him into a living weapon for their cause, FUG gave him the name Jue Viole Grace, a moniker derived from the names of his long-lost parents, Arlen Grace and V. During the events of the Workshop Battle, he is serving as one of FUG's most promising Slayer Candidates, individuals trained with the sole purpose of assassinating King Zahard.

In terms of personality, the Viole seen during the Workshop Battle is a dramatic departure from the naive and gentle boy who first entered the Tower. He has grown taller, his hair is longer, and his expression is often distant and cold. This new persona is far more violent, calculating, and taciturn, rarely speaking or displaying emotion. This shift is a direct result of the psychological trauma of Rachel's betrayal and the harsh, manipulative training enforced by FUG. He has learned that to survive and protect others, he must be preemptive and ready to eradicate opposition. While he appears ruthless and distant, this cold exterior is largely a defense mechanism to shield himself from further hurt and to distance others from the dangerous path he is forced to walk. Underneath the hardened shell of Viole, his core empathy remains intact, though he suppresses it, likely feeling immense guilt over the actions he is compelled to perform.

Viole's primary motivation during this arc is a complex web of coercion and hidden loyalty. On the surface, he lives to fulfill FUG's orders: to slay Zahard and his kin. However, his true driving force is the protection of his former friends. He remains with FUG largely under the threat that the organization will harm those he cares about if he does not comply. His actions are therefore a balancing act; he works as a FUG operative while secretly maneuvering to ensure the safety of Khun, Rak, Androssi, and the others who believe him to be dead. He reluctantly accepts the role of a villain in their eyes to keep them out of FUG's crosshairs.

His role in the Workshop Battle is the central point around which the entire conflict revolves. FUG intends to use the prestigious engineering competition as a stage to secure a powerful weapon known as the Thorn, which is meant to be ignited by Viole to grant him the power to kill the King. To force his compliance, FUG devises a plan that will result in the death of his friends. Consequently, Viole finds himself trapped in a three-way conflict: he must follow FUG's orders to win the battle, fend off his own old friends who seek revenge on the mysterious "Viole" for Khun's supposed death, and protect his new, unwilling FUG-assigned teammates, such as Ja Wangnan and Yeon Yihwa.

His key relationships are what define his struggle. His bond with Khun Aguero Agnis and Rak Wraithraiser is paramount. They eventually discover his true identity and become the driving force behind the plot to rescue him from FUG's clutches. With his new team, particularly Ja Wangnan, Viole forms a reluctant connection, seeing in them a reflection of the normalcy and friendship he once had, though he initially tries to push them away for their own safety. His relationship with his FUG handler, the High Ranker Jinsung Ha, is complicated, as Jinsung acts as both a ruthless mentor and a figure who genuinely wishes for Viole to gain the power to control his own destiny. The Slayer Candidate Karaka also plays a significant role as an antagonist who sees Viole as a tool for FUG's revolution.

The character's development throughout the Workshop Battle arc is centered on his reclamation of self. Initially resigned to his fate as Viole, he is largely passive, following orders and accepting his loneliness as a necessary sacrifice. However, as the battle progresses and his friends from the past and present risk their lives to save him, his resolve hardens. He begins to fight not out of resigned duty, but to actively protect those he loves. The climax of this arc sees him symbolically cut his long hair and definitively reject the identity of Viole, reasserting himself as Twenty-Fifth Bam and escaping from FUG's direct control. This marks his transition from a manipulated pawn to an agent with his own will, seeking to reunite with his companions.

As a combatant, Viole is exceptionally powerful for a C-Rank Regular, having been trained relentlessly by FUG. He is a Wave Controller, a position that focuses on manipulating shinsoo, the mystical energy of the Tower. His abilities are diverse and devastating. He demonstrates mastery of advanced FUG techniques like the HwaJeopGongPaSul, a powerful shinsoo attack that can break testing equipment designed for much higher-level Regulars. He possesses a unique, lobster-like skeletal construct that emerges from his body to rapidly heal his wounds. He also taps into a mysterious, demonic power within him, which can manifest as a single, powerful wing and augment his strength significantly. The central goal of the Workshop Battle arc is to grant him the "Thorn," an immensely powerful ignition weapon left by the Irregular Enryu, which is intended to be the key to his destiny as an agent of change within the Tower.
