OVA
Description
Ozuma, whose full name is Ozuma Zatou, is a supporting character in the anime special KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 -Bonus Stage-, specifically in its second episode, titled "Watch Out for Imposters!" He is the leader of a small party of adventurers who comes to the town of Axel looking for the celebrated adventurer known as Satou Kazuma.

In appearance, Ozuma is a large and imposing veteran adventurer. He stands about two heads taller than Kazuma and carries himself with a threatening aura. His anime design shows him wearing a green vest fitted with armored pads, while his original design depicts him in worn light black armor beneath a black cape. His rough and intimidating looks contrast with his behavior, which is earnest and respectful.

Ozuma travels with three female companions whose appearances and names closely echo Kazuma's own party: Acure, a blue-haired priestess; Megumi, a small black-haired mage; and Rakless, a blonde crusader. The resemblance is the source of much of the episode's comedy, since Ozuma's group is presented as a proper, respectable adventurer party, the kind of competent and well-mannered team that Kazuma's chaotic group only pretends to be.

Personality-wise, Ozuma is straightforward, sincere, and honorable. When he encounters Kazuma at a food stall in Axel and learns that his companion is the very adventurer he has been seeking, he eagerly offers to pay for dinner in exchange for stories of Satou Kazuma's legendary deeds. He listens to Kazuma's glorified account of his own adventures with genuine emotion, and he and his party members are moved to tears by what they hear. His reverence for Kazuma's reputation shows that he places great value on heroic ideals, and he accepts the tales at face value without suspecting how far they are from the truth.

His motivation is simple: he wants to meet the hero whose fame has spread, and he has traveled to Axel specifically for that purpose. This makes it easy for Kazuma to play along, as Kazuma uses the opportunity to present himself as a great hero rather than correcting the misunderstanding.

In the story, Ozuma functions as a guest character whose arrival sets the episode's premise in motion. His party's competence is shown when, at the guild, they quickly identify an injured adventurer's wounds as the work of white wolves and conclude that the damage is fatal, only to watch Aqua effortlessly restore the man with a high-level healing spell, much to their surprise. This moment highlights both their genuine field experience and the gap between their expectations and the extraordinary abilities of Kazuma's companions. Throughout the episode, the contrast between the two groups is played for humor, with the respectable adventurers being pulled into the disorder that tends to follow Kazuma's party.

Because he appears in a short bonus episode, Ozuma does not undergo deep character development. His arc is limited to the shift from admiration of the legendary Kazuma to direct experience of the reality of Kazuma's party. His key relationships are with his own loyal companions, whom he leads, and with Kazuma, whom he regards with great respect and treats generously. His interactions with the other members of Kazuma's party are shaped by their resemblance to his own teammates.

In terms of abilities, Ozuma is a seasoned veteran rather than a mage or specialist. His notable traits are his experience in the field, his physical presence, and his ability to lead a party. The special does not showcase any magical power or unique technique for him; his strength lies in being a dependable and experienced adventurer whose earnest nature makes him both an effective leader and someone easily taken in by Kazuma's exaggerated stories.
