Description
Kyle Von Pallistan is the second prince of the Pallistan Kingdom and the younger brother of first prince Julius Von Pallistan. From childhood he was betrothed to Scarlet El Vandimion, the daughter of a duke, but he treated her with sustained verbal, physical, and psychological abuse. He publicly broke their engagement by falsely accusing Scarlet of bullying Terenezza Hopkins and used the occasion to humiliate her, an act that ultimately triggers the central conflict of the story.

He is widely regarded as arrogant, condescending, petty, resentful, spoiled, haughty, and selfish, often displaying a mentality comparable to that of a young child. When situations do not go his way he is prone to outbursts and temper tantrums. His judgment is shallow and his abilities are limited, which makes him highly susceptible to manipulation by corrupt nobles who seek to use him as a figurehead for their own ambitions. Despite his royal status his lack of competence has earned him a reputation as a foolish prince.

Kyle is driven primarily by a desire for power and recognition, aiming to claim the throne with the backing of an unscrupulous aristocratic faction. This ambition is fueled by deep resentment toward his older brother Julius, whom he believes is more loved and talented, alongside a simultaneous fear of him. In Julius’s presence he becomes notably cowardly, as Julius does not hesitate to confront or ignore his threats.

Within the narrative Kyle functions as the catalyst that sets events in motion. His cruel treatment of Scarlet and his public denouncement of her cause her to finally snap and, in the infamous scene that gives the series its title, to request permission to punch everyone present. He is the first person she strikes, and from that moment he serves as a recurring foil to more capable characters. His schemes and alliances are systematically dismantled, and his role is that of an antagonist whose downfall gradually unfolds.

His most consequential relationships revolve around Scarlet, Julius, and Terenezza. With Scarlet he shared an abusive, arranged engagement that ended in his own public humiliation when she retaliated. Towards Julius he harbors a mixture of hatred and fear born of sibling rivalry and a stark awareness of his own inferiority. He becomes infatuated with Terenezza, a manipulative noblewoman who exploits his affections to advance her own standing, and he foolishly makes her his new fiancée. After his disownment Terenezza abandons him entirely, an event that contributes to his mental decline.

Over the course of the story Kyle undergoes a consistent downward trajectory. His schemes fail, his support among the nobility crumbles, and he is eventually disowned and disinherited. The loss of status and the betrayal by the person he trusted accelerate a descent into madness, leaving him broken rather than redeemed.

Notable abilities are virtually absent. He possesses no meaningful combat skill, magical talent, or strategic acumen. His influence rests solely on his royal title and the manipulative words of the corrupt figures who surround him, making him a pawn rather than a capable actor in his own right.
