Description
Alflame Rare Vankish is the First Prince of the Vankish Empire and the commander of the Red Sky Dragon Cavalry. Known by the epithet the Nobleman of Conflagration, he is a martial prince who has earned numerous military exploits on the battlefield. His status and formidable combat skills make him a significant political and martial figure within the world, operating largely outside the immediate circle of the Pallistan nobility.

A straightforward and bold individual, Alflame is a born martial artist who genuinely enjoys battle. He possesses a personality driven by action and enthusiasm rather than refined royal elegance. This simplicity extends to his personal life; he is unabashedly forward and passionate about his interests. Notably, he maintains a lavish palace known as the Blazing Palace, where he houses a harem of women he has taken a liking to, reflecting his open and unrestrained approach to his desires.

Alflame is blessed with the divine protection of the steel god Meteor. This power allows him to harden his body to the consistency of steel, granting him immense defensive capabilities and making him nearly impervious to physical harm. He relies on this ability to fight on the front lines as a durable powerhouse, using his hardened fists to overwhelm opponents. However, his divine protection is not absolute; while his body may remain unharmed, he is still susceptible to concussive force, as demonstrated when a powerful blow from Scarlet El Vandimion caused a severe concussion despite leaving his body intact.

His primary motivation for entering the story is political ambition. In the Vankish Empire, being the firstborn does not guarantee succession to the throne, and Alflame actively seeks allies to support his bid for power. He approaches Julius von Paristan with a strategic proposal: the might of his dragon cavalry in exchange for Pallistan's political backing. Beyond his political goals, he is personally captivated by strength and beauty. Upon encountering Scarlet, he was instantly taken with her power and appearance, leading him to propose to her almost immediately. Though he is quickly rejected, he remains undeterred, even spreading word among his subordinates that she is his fiancée, dubbing her the Infernal Bride.

Alflame's central relationship is with Scarlet. Their dynamic begins with a confrontation where his steel body withstands her assault, and it quickly evolves into an alliance on the battlefield. He respects her as a worthy combatant and pursues her with persistent, if unrequited, romantic interest. He is also served by his vice-captain, Jin, who acts as a stopper for his more reckless tendencies, often needing to physically restrain him when he becomes too unruly.

Over the course of the story, Alflame transitions from a potential rival to a crucial ally. Despite his initial role in attempting to silence a key figure, his alliance with Julius proves essential in the face of a massive monster invasion. He leads his thousand-strong dragon cavalry into battle alongside Scarlet, fighting on the front lines against overwhelming odds. His straightforward nature and immense strength make him a reliable, if somewhat boisterous, partner in combat, and his involvement shifts the balance of power in the conflict.
