Description
Ignor Lindor is a high-elf and one of the top three students in the sixth year at the Regarden Magic Academy. He hails from the Lindor family, a branch of the elven royal house, and transferred to the academy from the far northern elven forest of Alfswood. Standing 176 centimeters tall with long green hair, green eyes, and the pointed ears typical of his race, he specializes in both wind magic and the elusive fantasy magic unique to elves.

True to the strict customs of his people, Ignor initially presents a cold, proud, and often arrogant exterior. He is known for his blunt and brutally honest speech and refuses physical contact with anyone he does not deem worthy, a tradition he upholds rigorously until a significant bond is formed. This distant demeanor, however, is a façade that conceals a deep well of insecurity and self-loathing. Despite being considered a prodigy among humans, within his own elven community, Ignor is branded a failure and a disgrace. The core of his inferiority complex stems from his inability to master Fantasy Magic, the signature illusion art that all elves are expected to wield effortlessly.

His past is marked by a painful separation from his foster sister, Elnor Ljos Alf, a prodigious elven princess who was taken away to the great Tower when her immense magical talent was discovered. Driven by a desperate desire to reunite with her, Ignor dedicated himself to intense practice, but the constant criticism from other elves and Elnor’s own rejection, which culminated in her cutting off his arm, left him mentally scarred and stagnated.

This personal motivation defines his character, as his greatest dream is to reach the same Magia Vende as his sister, making him far more similar to the seemingly talentless Will Serfort than he initially cares to admit. During a dungeon exam where he is injured and becomes a burden, Ignor's internal walls finally break down. He confesses his painful history to Will, expecting scorn, but instead receives empathy and unwavering support. This moment of trust allows him to shatter his psychological block, and for the first time, he successfully manifests his Fantasy Magic to protect his new friend.

Following this turning point, Ignor discards his false arrogance and becomes a loyal and steadfast ally to Will. After graduating, he fulfills his dream by joining the Elven Saints faction in the Tower to be with Elnor. However, his life in the Tower is far from peaceful, as he endures constant pressure and humiliation from other elves who mock him as a failure. In a particularly humiliating ceremony, Elnor herself places a training collar around his neck. Despite the serious backdrop, his struggles often take on a tragicomic tone as he becomes the reluctant recipient of the eccentric whims of his sister and her aides.

As a mage, Ignor is highly skilled, particularly in destructive wind magic with spells like Zephyros Yubi and Verdes Rana. His true signature, however, is Fantasy Magic, an ability that brings his imagination into reality. After overcoming his fears, he demonstrates mastery of several potent spells, including Loria, which creates a vast flower field, and Alf's Ringhul, which conjures piercing trees to destroy his opponents.
