Description
Honeda is a character whose appearance is decidedly unique, even among the fantastical clientele of a certain massage therapist. She is a living skeleton, a being composed entirely of bones who originated from another world. Visually, Honeda has blue eyes and blue hair that reaches waist-length, often styled with braids. Despite her true form being a bare skeleton, she possesses a magical ability that gives her a more substantial presence. She can use her magic to create a simulated body, a temporary pseudo-form that recreates her appearance from when she was alive.

In her previous life as a human, Honeda was a magician. After arriving in the human world, she was involved in an accident, specifically getting hit by a car, which perhaps contributed to her current skeletal state. Following this accident, she was left immobile for a long period of time. This period of inactivity significantly influenced her magic; the mental image she held of herself became altered. Consequently, when she manifests her magical simulacrum of a body, it appears in a plumper, heavier state than her original living form had been.

This weight gain is a central concern for Honeda, aligning her with the core theme shared by many other otherworldly visitors. Her story includes a typical yet absurd twist on the isekai premise, as she is a being from a fantasy world who finds herself struggling with the consequences of modern life in the human world. When she is not using her magic, or perhaps when it is dispelled, she reverts to her natural skeletal state. On at least one occasion, the assembled bones of her body came back to life and began speaking, much to the surprise of those around her. In an ironic limitation, despite being a creature of pure bone, Honeda is unable to swim.

In terms of her role in the story, Honeda becomes one of the many patients seeking the help of Naoe, the human physical therapist. Her primary motivation is to return to a proper form, and she joins the others in receiving guidance on posture and spinal exercises to help correct her physique. Her relationships with the other characters are built on her shared status as a visitor from another world, and she interacts with the existing group, which includes figures like the elf Elfuda, the werewolf Laika, and the dragon Kuroeda. Her development focuses on her attempts to use Naoe's human techniques to overcome a problem caused by her own magical self-perception, creating a unique blend of supernatural causes and practical, earth-based solutions.
