TV-Series
Description
Cetrion du Olsterio is a supporting character in the series who serves as a royal general of the Rhoden Kingdom and the heir to the Olsterio Dukedom. He is a brawny man in his thirties who typically wears a lieutenant general's uniform, and he is said to resemble a younger version of his father, Maldoira.

On the surface, Cetrion appears to be a loyal vassal serving under Second Prince Dakares, having aligned with his father in supporting the prince's faction. However, this allegiance is a carefully maintained deception. Cetrion's true loyalties lie with First Prince Sekt, whom he believes will act in the kingdom's best interests rather than becoming a pawn in the territorial conflicts between the eastern and western empires. Cetrion displays a more optimistic attitude when situations go wrong, often attempting to put a positive spin on failures, though this trait is not always appreciated by his nominal superior, Prince Dakares.

Cetrion's motivations are driven by a conviction that his father has foolishly aligned himself with foreign hegemony instead of prioritizing their homeland. He views his father's political choices as sullying the legacy of their forefathers, a belief that ultimately leads him to betray his own family without remorse in service to Prince Sekt's broader strategy. His role in the story is that of a double agent whose actions precipitate a major political crisis within the Rhoden Kingdom.

His most significant actions unfold during a conspiracy to eliminate Prince Dakares and consolidate power for Prince Sekt. Cetrion personally assassinates Prince Dakares by embedding his sword into the prince while they are alone in a carriage, after arranging for the removal of the prince's royal guards. Following the assassination, he participates in a plan to frame the dead prince for the murder of Princess Yuriarna by planting her necklace on the corpse. To maintain the illusion that Dakares attempted to murder Sekt and was killed in self-defense, Cetrion willingly stabs his true master, Prince Sekt, in the arm to create a credible wound. After the death of his father Maldoira, Cetrion inherits not only the family's army and noble duties but also the title of Duke of the Olsterio Dukedom.

Cetrion's most important relationships are defined by betrayal. His relationship with his father, Maldoira du Olsterio, is one of concealed animosity; despite serving as his father's second in command, Cetrion considers him a fool and is more than willing to turn against him, ultimately leaving his father to be eliminated as part of the conspiracy. In contrast, his relationship with First Prince Sekt is one of true allegiance, as Cetrion believes the prince seeks to navigate the kingdom away from foreign manipulation. As a lieutenant general and later a duke, Cetrion wields command over soldiers and holds significant political authority. His notable abilities appear to be more political and strategic than magical, focusing on planning assassinations, manipulating information, and maintaining elaborate deceptions.
