Description
Yuzuriha, an 18-year-old princess from culturally traditional Yamato during Ray's disbandment and 21 in current events, possesses black hair, green eyes, a height of 1.46 meters, and blood type O. As a founding member of the legendary idol-witch unit Ray, she bore the epithet "The Elegant Dancer" or "The Graceful Dancing Princess," serving as choreographer through her unparalleled mastery of Yamato dance styles. Her role embodied "The Smart Guy" archetype, marked by perceptiveness, intelligence, and studious fascination with foreign cultures. Ray disbanded three years before the main storyline after leader Eliza lost her voice.

Self-centered and idiosyncratic, Yuzuriha operates at her own pace. Though presenting as a graceful Yamato noblewoman, she openly identifies as a lesbian. Her interests center on researching foreign cultures, womanizing, and pursuing women—particularly non-Yamato individuals—while calling herself a "captor." She frequently stalks fellow Ray member Camilla, a vampire from Ryuuto. While generally preferring curvy women, Yuzuriha harbors intense romantic feelings for Camilla, revealing a girlish, vulnerable side around her. This fuels a friendly rivalry rooted in opposing cultural fixations: Camilla idolizes Yamato traditions, while Yuzuriha obsesses over Western culture, sparking frequent clashes over their ideals.

Yuzuriha's Western fascination manifests in using "Hello" as her standard greeting, mastering Western dining etiquette including knife-and-fork use, eating bread for breakfast, and consistently acting in "un-Yamato" ways. Post-disbandment, she founded the Cabaret Club while attending Flora Girls' Academy and mentored younger witches such as Konohana wa Otome's Kaede. Her magic draws from Yamato traditions, potentially including Onmyōdō, though her dance expertise overshadows documented spellcasting details. She continues her witchcraft to pursue her original goal: opening Yamato to foreign influence.
