Description
Angelica is an eighteen-year-old student at Flora Girls' Academy and the leader of the musical duo unit Sadistic Candy. Standing 172 centimeters tall with a birthday on June 12, her current appearance as a tall young woman with pink hair contrasts sharply with her past identity. Before her time at the academy, Angelica was known as Ange, a member of the legendary and now-disbanded unit Ray. In that earlier incarnation, she performed as a popular and talented "loli witch" with a delicate, innocent, and cute persona.
A significant physical growth spurt led to her hiatus from idol activities, prompting her to withdraw from the public eye and hide her true identity. She eventually re-enrolled at Flora Girls' Academy as an ordinary student, aspiring to live a normal, unremarkable life. Her personal interests and likes are centered on this goal, as she actively researches how to be a regular person, while disliking things that are not normal, such as physical measurements.
In the present, Angelica's personality is a deliberate departure from her former self. She is known to act in a crude, aggressive, and openly hostile manner, which is interpreted as a means to distance herself from her old "Ange" persona and reflects a more cynical worldview developed after Ray's dissolution. This behavior is most evident in her interactions with her own partner, Lucifer, with whom she constantly engages in intense physical fights. Despite her rough exterior, her motivations are rooted in a sense of guilt and a desire for atonement. She formed the Sadistic Candy unit partly out of guilt for not being able to help during an incident a few years prior when her own magical powers went out of control. This rampage required the intervention of Ray to stop her, and the aftermath left others at the school terrified of her, leading to her becoming isolated. She copes with this reputation by embracing it, though this is presented as an imperfect solution.
Within the story, Angelica's status as a former member of Ray is a significant plot point, marking her as one of the most talented witches and musicians of her generation. Her true identity is eventually revealed to other student leaders by the academy's chairman. Her key relationship is with her duo partner, Lucifer, which is characterized by volatile and combative energy. She also has a connection to the chairman from her time in Ray, though their current rapport is described as being somewhat strained. Angelica's notable ability is the use of healing magic, a skill she has retained since her days in Ray.
