Movie
Description
Micca is a girl from the planet Mushiika, a world where the primary source of power is a form of music known as farre. She has an extraordinary singing voice that carries a unique property, allowing her to make objects and people move or sway in response to her songs. She is the last known surviving member of her species after the planet Mushiika was destroyed by a malicious entity called Noise, which seeks to erase all music from the universe.
Her personality is gentle, earnest, and pure-hearted. She is deeply passionate about music and believes in its power to bring joy and harmony. Despite her youthful appearance, she carries the weight of her lost civilization with quiet resilience. When she learns the full truth about the destruction of her home and her family from the robot gravedigger Takiren, she remains composed and determined rather than succumbing to despair, earning the admiration of Nobita and his friends.
Micca’s primary motivation is to restore the Hall of Farre, a vast music-powered spaceship that once carried the last of the Mushiika people. To do this, she searches for Virtuosos, people who are masters of farre. She mistakes Nobita and his classmates for such masters after hearing their casual riverside concert. She encourages them to join her on the Hall of Farre, where they use Doraemon’s gadget Musical Instrument License to pair with instruments and generate farre energy.
Her role in the story is that of a guide and catalyst. She introduces the main characters to the world of farre, leads them through the Hall’s various zones, and helps them understand the importance of music as a force for life. She also forms a particularly close bond with Nobita, who plays the recorder. She is fond of the relaxed, off-key “no” note he produces, seeing it as special rather than wrong. She often takes his hand to show him around and relies on him as a source of emotional support.
Key relationships include her loyal robot attendant Chapeck, who has protected her and kept harsh truths from her to spare her feelings. She also grows close to the pop star Mina, who is descended from Micca’s long-lost twin sister, and to the revived maestro Vento, who helps her understand the tragic history of her people. Her interactions with Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo are marked by mutual respect and friendship, especially during the final battle where they perform the Earth Symphony together.
Over the course of the film, Micca develops from a lonely, mission-driven survivor into a hopeful individual who learns to trust others and accept help. She shows courage when faced with Noise and sadness when she must part from her new friends. In the end, she receives a signal from other Mushiika survivors hidden elsewhere in space, rewarding her perseverance and giving her a renewed sense of purpose.
In terms of notable abilities, Micca’s singing is her greatest talent. Her voice can carry farre energy that powers machinery, revitalise dormant structures, and even influence the movement of objects and living beings. She also has a deep intuitive understanding of music and can harmonise with other players instantly, making her an indispensable member of the ensemble that ultimately defeats Noise.
