Hikari is a major antagonist in Rooster Fighter, serving as a devil whose primary goal is to destroy the rooster brothers, Keiji and Keisuke. His ambitions extend beyond personal vendettas, as he also aims to create a veritable army of kijin, or demons, in order to dominate the world.

Hikari is not acting entirely of his own accord, as he has a sinister mother who is pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Her true objective in pushing Hikari to fight Keiji is to corner the rooster hero and force him past his limits, thereby triggering the "Righteous Egg" within him. This suggests that Hikari, while a powerful devil, is also a pawn in a larger, more sinister plan orchestrated by his mother.

In his confrontations, Hikari proves to be an incredibly formidable foe. He possesses the ability to transform into the ultimate expression of his evil power, a state from which he appears to be virtually unstoppable. Even when mortally wounded by a devastating attack from Keisuke, Hikari does not simply perish. Instead, on the verge of death, he suddenly changes his appearance, becoming stronger and more determined than ever to continue the fight.
