Description
Lina is a supporting character from the fantasy story in which she originally serves as a shield knight in the hero Allen's party. She comes from a noble family that governs a region, and she chose the adventurer's life out of a sincere desire to help others. At the start of the tale, she goes along with the decision to expel the white mage Lloyd from the party, believing he was useless. However, she quickly realizes that Lloyd was actually the vital support that held the group together. When Allen later refuses to help defend a city, Lina leaves the hero's party on her own. She seeks out Lloyd to apologize and reconcile with him, acknowledging her mistake.

Her personality is marked by a strong sense of justice, thoughtfulness, and a deep care for ordinary people. She is one of the few members of the hero's party who questions the group's direction and prioritizes ethics over convenience. This leads to an ideological split between her and Allen, who is arrogant and results‑driven. Lina’s motivations center on protecting others and doing what is morally right, even when it costs her.

During a battle after Lloyd's departure, Lina loses her left arm to a monster, a devastating injury that forces her to adapt as a fighter. Despite this loss, she does not give up. She continues to serve as a shield‑wielding knight in her own way, eventually reaching B‑Rank as an adventurer. She later joins Yui's S‑Rank party as an honorary member, working to rebuild the trust she lost by originally siding with Allen. Her development shows her growth from a follower who was manipulated by a flawed leader into an independent figure who stands by her principles and learns that true strength is not just about combat ability.

In terms of notable abilities, Lina is a skilled shield knight, though her missing left arm limits her effectiveness in close combat. She compensates with tactical awareness and a calm, commanding presence that helps steady those around her. Her role in the story is that of a moral anchor, representing the conscience of the original party, and her key relationships include her fraught dynamic with Allen, her respectful reconciliation with Lloyd, and her new bond with Yui's group.
