TV-Series
Description
Atsushi is an elementary school boy who lives in the same neighborhood as the main characters. He is a recurring figure in the story, often seen spending time with his friends at the local park. He is easily recognized by his consistent visual trademarks, which include a red cap featuring a large white A and adhesive bandages or plasters that are usually visible somewhere on his body, such as on his nose or knee.

In terms of personality, Atsushi is characterized by a strong sense of confidence and pride, particularly regarding his self-proclaimed role as the first disciple of Reina Aharen, whom he greatly admires and has given the title of Supreme King. This devotion is a core part of his identity, and he adheres firmly to his own beliefs about the exceptional talents of the Aharen siblings, often acting on this conviction without being easily swayed by others. Despite his leadership qualities among his friends, he can be socially and emotionally unaware. A notable aspect of his personality is his complete obliviousness to the romantic feelings his childhood friend Futaba has for him, to which he sometimes responds with indifference or brusqueness, creating comedic situations.

Atsushi's primary motivation stems from his deep admiration for Reina Aharen. He proudly considers himself her most loyal follower and seeks to learn from her, though his perception of her abilities is not always grounded in reality. This enthusiasm drives him to initiate interactions and activities with the Aharen family, contributing to many lighthearted moments in the narrative. In the story, he acts as the leader of a trio of young boys who play together, taking on an older-brother-like role, especially in his relationship with Shōta Raidō, where he can be both fraternal and demanding.

Key relationships define his interactions. His dynamic with Reina Aharen is one of veneration, where he sees himself as her foremost disciple. With Futaba, he shares a long-standing friendship, but remains unaware of her romantic interest, often missing her emotional cues and occasionally finding her bothersome. His relationship with Shōta Raidō is that of a fellow disciple and friend, with Atsushi sometimes acting as a strict but caring older brother figure. He is also acquainted with Reina's sibling, Ren, and his unwavering belief in the family's talents leads him to seek out games and challenges with them.

Over the course of the series, Atsushi's development is subtle, explored through his everyday life and growing friendships within his neighborhood group. While he remains largely oblivious to romantic cues, his authentic and sincere enthusiasm, along with his role as a small leader among his peers, adds a distinct flavor to the group's dynamic. Regarding abilities, Atsushi does not possess any extraordinary skills. However, he is notably associated with the simple, characteristic act of spinning a hand spinner in the park, which has become a memorable and iconic image for his character.
