Bihei, a Qin soldier from Jouto Village, grew up alongside Shin and Hyou. Inheriting his father's prominent buck teeth and youthful resemblance, he initially provoked fights with Shin but was consistently overpowered, forging a friendship that included his younger brother Bi Tou. He married Tou Bi and fathered a son named Tou. After Bi Tou's death in the Battle of Bayou, Bihei became the sole surviving sibling, with his parents completing his family background. Enlisting in the Qin military, he became an early veteran of the Hi Shin Unit during its formation as a 100-man unit. Rising to 300-man commander, he leads the Bi Hei Unit, with documented stats of 70 strength, 70 command, and 68 intelligence. Initially characterized by pronounced cowardice and a habit of fabricating stories, Bihei experienced paralyzing terror during his first major battle at the Dakan Plains in the Keiyou Campaign, confronting the chaos and brutality of war. Yet when his brother faced mortal threat, he impulsively stabbed an enemy soldier to save him—requiring rescue by squad leader Taku Kei. His combat relies on standard infantry spear techniques. Over time, frontline exposure with the Hi Shin Unit fostered gradual resilience. Though retaining caution, he demonstrated reliability in critical moments, such as defending against Wei chariot assaults and constructing barricades from fallen soldiers' bodies. Bihei shares a deep-rooted bond with Shin, frequently disparaging his ambitions by calling him an "idiot" for aspiring to become a Great General, yet remaining fiercely loyal as a grounding presence. He holds profound respect for Kyou Kai, crediting her survival tactics and acknowledging her superhuman combat skills to villagers after the Wei campaign. Bi Tou's death intensified his commitment to comrades, evolving him from self-preservation to actively ensuring the unit's collective survival—reassuring others during the Bayou campaign about Shin's timely arrival despite his own fears. Active as of the latest campaigns, he continues serving under the Hi Shin banner.
