Miki Nomura is a sixteen-year-old girl living on the island of Torishirojima in the story Summer Pockets. She serves as a member of the Torishirojima Public Order Executives, a self-appointed group that patrols the island and enforces public decency. In this capacity, she is responsible for monitoring the island from atop the radio tower, where she also handles daily radio broadcasts. To carry out her duties, she carries a customized water gun named the Hydro Gladiator Kai, which she uses to mercilessly punish anyone she considers a troublemaker or a violator of the island's moral standards. Miki has a strong sense of justice and takes her role very seriously, often patrolling with an earnest and no-nonsense demeanor. However, when people follow the rules, she reveals a friendlier and more approachable side. Her first encounter with the protagonist, Hairi Takahara, occurs when she mistakes him for an exhibitionist, though they later become friends. Despite their bond, she does not hesitate to discipline him if she deems his behavior unacceptable. Miki is known among the islanders as the Shiroha Island Sniper for her accuracy with her water gun. Her dedication to order is balanced by a genuine concern for the community, and she takes pride in her role. In the expanded version of the story, Summer Pockets Reflection Blue, she receives her own narrative route that explores her character further and develops her relationship with Hairi beyond their initial interactions.
