Kyōsuke Wakaba is a former member of the Green Battalion of the Dragon Keepers, a Ranger who was once regarded as serious, talented, and destined for a bright future. Four years before the main events of the story, he disappeared while serving as part of a search team sent to investigate the entity known as Megatea. During that mission, he encountered Executive Magatia and later aligned with her, becoming the leader of the organization Ouroboros. He appears as a principal antagonist during the Dreamy School Life Arc, and in the Uroboros Disappearance Incident he takes on the role of the Principal, wielding the Sacred Tool Okuninushi-no-Kami, which he obtained from Tokiwade. Outwardly, Wakaba projects a kind and composed demeanor, but this is a deceptive front. He is in truth highly manipulative and possesses a deeply self-absorbed worldview, genuinely believing himself to be the victim in the conflicts that unfold. His motivations stem from his profound disappointment with what the Ranger squad had become, which he feels has strayed far from the ideals he once held. This disillusionment drives him to oppose the organization and adopt an antagonistic role. His former partner, Kanon Hisui, is a Green Battalion Ranger who actively seeks to reunite with him. Wakaba’s development traces a path from a promising, dedicated Ranger to a disillusioned antagonist who believes his actions are justified. His notable combat ability centers on using the Sacred Tool Okuninushi-no-Kami in battle, and he fought against the Rangers during his appearances.
