Description
Momoka Hanaoka is a college student who lives in a share house with two other residents: Ryota Ochi and Kanade Ayase. She is described as brilliant and extremely beautiful, with dark blue hair and green eyes. On the surface, Momoka acts tough and dismissive, maintaining a prickly exterior that can come across as cold or aloof. However, this is a front for a secretly kind and caring nature, a classic tsundere personality. Despite her intelligence and polished appearance, Momoka is surprisingly poor at housework and often relies on Ryota to handle domestic tasks. Her honest disposition makes her easy to take advantage of, and Ryota frequently finds himself helping her out, even as she tries to maintain her proud image. Momoka’s role in the story is that of one of the two female housemates who, along with Kanade, agrees to the share house’s unusual secret rule: that Ryota may touch them for one minute under certain conditions. This arrangement sets up the central dynamic of the series. Her motivations are not deeply explored but stem from a combination of laziness, a desire to maintain her tough persona, and a genuine though hidden wish for connection and care. Her key relationships are with Ryota, toward whom she oscillates between dismissiveness and reluctant gratitude, and with Kanade, her fellow housemate who shares a similar lack of domestic capability. Momoka does not display any supernatural or exceptional abilities; her notable traits are her high intelligence, striking beauty, and the contrast between her harsh exterior and her softer, more considerate interior. Over the course of the series, she shows signs of gradual emotional development as the tsundere facade begins to crack in response to Ryota’s persistent kindness.
