Description
Ioradio, whose full name is Ioradio Velviger, is a character from the manga serving as a demon who initially disguises herself as a human woman. Her natural demonic form is distinct, featuring large bulges on her head that cover her eyes, small wing-like protrusions, dark spots on her torso, and long, branching arms. In contrast, her human disguise presents her as a beautiful woman with a curvaceous figure, long beige hair accented with a pink streak, and lilac eyes. A peculiar trait of her transformation is that her clothing is always torn whenever she reverts to her original demonic state.

In terms of personality, Ioradio is portrayed as mischievous and notably shameless, particularly concerning nudity, which may stem from her species being unaccustomed to wearing clothes. Despite this demeanor, she demonstrates a genuine care for her companions and is willing to go to great lengths to ensure their safety.

Ioradio's role in the story begins in the town of Wolnack, where she shares a room with Tristan Liones at an inn. She reveals that she is aware he is one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse and explains her mission was to eliminate them. Her primary motivation is revealed to be survival; she was sent by King Arthur Pendragon to eliminate the Four Knights to avoid being killed herself by her own comrades, whom Arthur had brainwashed. However, her true goal was to test whether the Four Knights were strong enough to pose a real threat against Arthur, hoping they could eventually defeat him.

Key relationships include her bond with a companion named Aboru, whom she cares for deeply. Her interactions with the main characters are significant, particularly with Tristan, whom she fights to test his strength, and later with Lancelot, who defeats her companions and spares their lives, leading Ioradio to become an information source for the group. She also shows surprise and recognition upon meeting Percival, noting how demons appreciated him, indicating a deeper history within the demon realm.

Ioradio undergoes notable development, shifting from an antagonist sent to kill the Four Knights to a reluctant ally who provides crucial information for their journey to Camelot. She leads the group to the demon realm, where she reveals there is an entrance to Camelot, and later intervenes on their behalf with the demon leader Zeldris when tensions arise.

Her notable abilities include a power called Jamming, which nullifies all forms of magical detection over a certain area. In combat, she proves quick enough to dodge attacks from Tristan and can spit an elastic, adhesive substance that is resistant to fire and magic, which she uses to bind her opponents. In her natural form, she can use her small wings to fly. However, she is ultimately defeated when Tristan uses both his demon and goddess powers in conjunction. Notably, she is the first demon character in the series to be given a surname.
