TV-Series
Description
Linaris the Obsidian is a vampire and the current leader of the Obsidian Eyes, a spy guild. She inherited the position from her father, Rehart the Obsidian, and is determined to restore the organization to its former height of influence. To achieve this, she deliberately works to ignite a new age of war and conflict, believing that chaos will allow her guild to thrive once more.

Physically, Linaris is described as a glass-like vampire who is too frail to leave her forest manor. This physical weakness confines her to her residence deep within a forest, but it does not limit her reach. She possesses a powerful ability known as Complete Domination, which allows her to control others through their wounds. By exploiting injuries inflicted on a target, she can exert her will over them, effectively building a vast intelligence network of puppets and informants. This ability makes her a dangerous manipulator despite her fragile body.

In terms of personality, Linaris is ambitious and calculating. She styles herself as a self-proclaimed Demon King, seeking to wield influence from the shadows rather than through direct confrontation. Her motivations are rooted in restoring the glory of the Obsidian Eyes, an organization that struggled after the death of the Demon King and the end of the old wars. Many of its former members lacked skills outside of combat and espionage and felt abandoned by society. Linaris recognizes their plight and offers them purpose by reforming the guild under her leadership.

Within the story of Ishura, Linaris is a supporting character who emerges in the second season. She operates from her isolated manor, pulling strings and gathering information to shape the larger conflicts between Aureatia and the New Principality of Lithia, as well as among the various Shura champions. Her role is that of a behind-the-scenes schemer who uses her intelligence and ability to manipulate others to further her goals.

Key relationships include her connection to the remnants of the Obsidian Eyes, who look to her for direction. Her father, Rehart, is mentioned as the previous leader, but little is detailed about their personal dynamic. She also interacts with other power brokers in the world, though her specific alliances and enmities are not extensively elaborated in available sources.

Her development is tied to her resolve to rebuild her organization. She does not undergo a major personal transformation but rather grows in influence as the story progresses, utilizing her powers and network to adapt to the shifting political landscape. Her notable ability, Complete Domination, makes her a unique threat: she can turn anyone she has wounded into an extension of her will, making her a formidable enemy even for more physically powerful warriors. Overall, Linaris embodies a classic manipulative strategist whose strength lies not in combat but in control and information.
