Description
Miki Hadano reigns as Seton Academy's Student Council President throughout her entire high school tenure. Simultaneously, she commands the unwavering loyalty of the school's naked mole-rat population as their queen. Her species grants distinct physiological advantages, including the ability to switch from glucose to fructose for energy, enabling survival without oxygen for up to 18 minutes.

Physically, Miki is a tall, busty teenage girl with pale skin, long straight black hair reaching her back, and green-blue eyes. Her rodent-like ears and hairless rat tail clearly denote her species. Citing species norms and discomfort, she typically wears only undergarments within the Student Council office. Outside, she dons the standard Seton Academy uniform. After her presidency ends, she adapts her uniform, wearing only the front half like an apron.

Initially, Miki staunchly opposes interspecies relationships, viewing them as disruptive to the natural order. She specifically targets the Cooking Club, believing Jin aims to create a "multi-species harem" and that the club fosters such relationships. She directs council members to gather evidence, leading to surveillance of Jin and Ranka. After confronting the club and demanding its disbandment or expulsion of non-human members, her naked mole-rat subordinates intervene. They report Ranka saved them from the cat Kurumi and joined the club solely to make friends. This revelation forces Miki to grudgingly relent, allowing the club to continue under her ongoing monitoring. Jin later challenges her stance by highlighting her inherent role in interspecies relationships, gradually leading her toward greater tolerance.

Her history includes investigating Jin after misinterpreting his aid to the lion King Shishino as manipulating interspecies romances. She confronts the Cooking Club but flees upon Kurumi's appearance, as her colony sacrifices themselves to distract the cat. She later formally acknowledges Ranka's rescue of her subordinates. During her reelection campaign, she promises to "eliminate uniforms," which students misinterpret as allowing casual attire, likely stemming from her personal aversion to clothing.

Despite her early disapproval of interspecies bonds, she develops implied personal feelings, possibly a crush, toward Ranka's father. Her fear of predators manifests intensely when encountering Kurumi, though real-world naked mole-rat predators are snakes and raptors, not felines. As a eusocial species queen, she leads a colony potentially composed of her own offspring, though this remains unconfirmed.
