Paulo Gollini is a supporting antagonist in the anime film My Hero Academia: You're Next, where he serves as a member of the Gollini Family mafia. He has an eerie physical appearance, with purple skin, small green eyes that appear slightly sunken, sharply pointed facial features, and no visible mouth. Within the organization, he operates under the authority of its leader, Dark Might, who is also known as Valdo Gollini.

Paulo's defining personality trait is his laziness, which places him in line with the sin of sloth among the family members. Dark Might openly criticizes him for contributing little to the group's objectives, specifically for failing to assist in recapturing the young girl Anna. Rather than confronting enemies directly, Paulo prefers to use his Quirk in a passive way and relies on his minions to handle threats such as Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, and Giulio Gandini.

His notable ability is the Quirk Erasure Spot, which lets him produce a large dome-shaped wave of energy that deactivates the Quirks of anyone within its range. He can also create a smaller bubble inside that field where Quirks continue to function, allowing him to control who is affected. This power makes him a meaningful obstacle, as it temporarily strips heroes of their abilities while they remain inside the dome.

In terms of motivation, Paulo wants to eliminate Giulio in order to redeem himself after his earlier shortcomings. His main role in the story is tied to the Quirk-erasing dome that disrupts the efforts of the heroes, and Izuku eventually locates and defeats him within that structure. After his failure, Dark Might punishes Paulo by dropping him into a void, effectively removing him from the rest of the conflict. His development is therefore limited, as he is primarily defined by his sloth, his desire to earn redemption through violence, and his harsh downfall at the hands of his own leader.
