Description
Kerioiru is the leader of a seasoned adventuring party known as the Fool's Oddities Brigade. He is a man who typically dresses in cowboy-style clothing, often seen with a hat and vest, and has orange hair and gray eyes. His primary skills lie in close-quarters combat, where he demonstrates notable proficiency using knives.

In terms of personality, Kerioiru can appear somewhat casual or even evasive in his leadership style. He has a tendency to delegate undesirable tasks to other party members and engages in playful banter with them, which contributes to a lively group dynamic. Despite this lighthearted exterior, he maintains a serious side, especially when it comes to the party's overarching goals and the welfare of its members. It is eventually revealed that the Fool's Oddities Brigade is not merely a group of skilled hunters, but a family unit; Filmina is his wife, and Aka and Shiro are his children.

Kerioiru's primary motivation stems from his role as both leader and family patriarch. He recognizes the unique potential of the main protagonist, Boxxo, viewing the vending machine as indispensable to achieving the Fool's Oddities Brigade's objectives. As such, he consistently attempts to recruit both Boxxo and the powerful warrior Lammis into his party's inner circle, though these attempts often meet with limited success. His actions are driven by a pragmatic desire to strengthen his group's capabilities for the challenges they face within the dungeon.

Kerioiru's role in the story is significant as an ally and occasional foil to the main characters. A key event that defines his development occurs during a fierce battle against the floor boss, the Eight-legged Crocodile. Faced with a difficult tactical situation, he makes the controversial decision to temporarily leave Boxxo behind. This choice has unintended consequences; due to a crack in the floor, Boxxo falls to a lower level of the dungeon. When Lammis regains consciousness and learns of Boxxo's predicament, she furiously confronts Kerioiru. This confrontation forces him to recognize the impact of his decision, and he is compelled to hurriedly join Lammis in a rescue mission to retrieve Boxxo. This incident highlights his pragmatic, if sometimes flawed, decision-making under pressure and underscores the strength of his sense of responsibility when directly challenged.
