Movie
Description
Bubble Odorokii is the founder and manager of the dinosaur theme park Dino's Island, a world-famous entertainer and entrepreneur whose skills are said to make the impossible possible. He serves as the main antagonist of the story, a figure whose public persona as a master of unbelievable spectacles hides a much darker private nature. In his youth, Bubble was an aspiring entertainer, an upstanding and ambitious man who loved his family dearly and dreamed of bringing wonder and surprise to as many people as possible. He enjoyed creating original tricks and performances to delight his wife and children, particularly his son Billy and his daughter Angela. This dream, however, was built on a promise to his sickly wife, who passed away before he could achieve fame.
Driven by grief and the pressure to fulfill his vow, Bubble devoted himself entirely to his career. The mounting expectations from the public, fueled by his every success, gradually corrupted him. He transformed from a loving father into a despicable and ruthless individual, willing to stop at nothing to maintain his fame and create ever-greater surprises. He became a toxic parent, casually treating his own children as tools to further his ambitions and lashing out violently when events did not go his way. This ruthless motivation drives his actions throughout the film, as he seeks to protect the secret of his park and recapture a real baby dinosaur named Nana, whose existence threatens to expose him.
Bubble Odorokii is the mastermind behind the central conflict of the story. After failing to actually revive dinosaurs, he chose to deceive the public, creating an elaborate theme park filled with advanced robotic dinosaurs. This fraudulent foundation of Dino's Island is a secret he is desperate to keep. When a malfunctioning robot dinosaur escapes the park and is destroyed, revealing the truth to the public, an enraged Bubble unleashes his mechanical creations on the city to capture Nana, the real dinosaur his son had successfully revived. He commits numerous tyrannical acts, including kidnapping anyone who defies him and imprisoning them in a detention center. In the final battle, he personally pilots a massive, four-armed Tyrannosaurus-type mechanical dinosaur, showing his willingness to engage directly in the conflict to achieve his goals.
Bubble’s most significant relationships are with his children, Billy and Angela, who are also scientists working at Dino's Island. Initially, he supported their research into dinosaur revival, but after repeated failures, he grew impatient and chose the path of deception, a decision Billy openly objected to. He views Angela as a subordinate, at one point infuriating the character Hiroshi by callously calling her useless. His children serve as a narrative mirror to his fall from grace, as they eventually turn against him, horrified by his evil deeds. It is their confrontation, appealing to the memory of the promise he made to their late mother, that forces Bubble to realize the depth of his mistakes. In the end, witnessing the tragic sacrifice of the young dinosaur Nana, who gave her life to save others, leads to his final development. Consumed by the weight of his greed and the tragedies it caused, Bubble takes full responsibility, turning himself in to the authorities and allowing his children to leave and pursue their own dreams, free from his toxic influence.
Bubble Odorokii’s primary ability is his incredible skill as an entertainer, described as being capable of making the impossible possible, which he used to gain endless fame through outlandish performances. He also has access to significant resources and advanced technology, allowing him to create a full theme park and an army of sophisticated, weaponized robotic dinosaurs. For direct combat, he is a capable pilot, operating a powerful custom mechanical dinosaur in the film's climax.
