Akuma Shōgun is a powerful antagonist originally existing millions of years ago as Goldman, a primordial Perfect Chōjin who rejected enforced immortality. After a legendary clash with his brother Silverman, his soul became bound to the Golden Mask. He later bargained with Satan to transform into Akuma Shōgun, the Devil General, leading the Devil Chōjin as the leader of the Seven Akuma Chōjin and the Devil Knights. His armor features a silver helmet with three horns, long blonde hair, and the Devil Chōjin insignia. Standing 220 centimeters tall and weighing 162 kilograms, his Chōjin Power is rated at 15,000,000. In combat, he can freely alter his body’s hardness from Diamond Body at level 10, the highest in the Chōjin world, down to Snake Body at level 0. His finishing moves include Hell’s Guillotine and the Nine Point Seal, also known as Hell’s Nine Point Seal. A crack in his helmet can reveal his original identity as Goldman. He was defeated by Kinnikuman’s Kinniku Driver and expressed remorse afterward. In one storyline, he resurrected as a significantly enhanced version driven by revenge, absorbing human energy and the power of New York City to transform it into a wasteland, creating a Skyscraper Deathmatch ring. In that form, he can use the absorbed finishing moves of other Justice Chojins and techniques such as Hell’s Musical and Subway Crash. In the Perfect Origin Arc, he opposes enforced immortality yet remains loyal to the Devil Chōjin cause, mentoring a successor and allying with Justice Chōjin to end the rule of the remaining Perfect Origin, believing in generational change.
