Description
Flio is the protagonist of this story, whose original name was Banaza. In his original world, he lived an ordinary life working as a merchant. He did not come from modern-day Japan like many similar characters; rather, he was summoned from one fantasy world to another by the magical kingdom of Klyrode. Upon his arrival, his level 1 status was measured and found to be no different from that of an average adult male citizen, leading the kingdom to deem him a failed hero candidate. Unable to return home due to a mishap, he was banished to a dangerous forest under the pretense of being allowed to settle in the countryside.

His fate changed dramatically when he was forced to fight against monsters in the forest. After defeating a slime, his level increased to two, and at that moment, all of his statistical values became infinite. This made him effectively invincible and bestowed upon him power that far surpassed any other being in that world. Despite this overwhelming strength, Flio initially did not understand the true meaning of the infinity symbol on his status screen and continued to believe he was a weak, ordinary person for a time. To avoid unwanted attention and interference from the magical kingdom that had rejected him, he used transformation magic to completely alter his appearance and adopted the alias Flio, which was inspired by the name of a dog he had in his original world.

In terms of personality, Flio is defined by his modesty and his fundamental decency as a person. Before his summoning, he was a merchant who disapproved of discrimination and was shown treating demihumans with kindness, offering them money for a meal when others would not. After gaining his powers, his primary desire is to avoid conflict and live a peaceful, slow life. He is not socially inept or solely defined by his power level; instead, he forms meaningful relationships with a degree of self-awareness that is notable for the genre. He holds no loyalty to the human kingdom that cast him out and is equally happy to be friends with humans or demons, refusing to take sides in their ongoing war.

Flio's central role in the story is to navigate his desire for a quiet existence while his immense power repeatedly draws him into the world's major conflicts. Despite his best efforts to relax, situations constantly arise that require his attention, often because the fighting between humans and demons spills into his territory. He does not seek out fights, but his protective nature, especially towards those he cares about, can push him into action. When his loved ones are threatened, his normally peaceful demeanor gives way to the use of his overwhelming, and at times terrifying, abilities.

A key relationship in his life and development is with Fenrys, a powerful wolf demon who is also one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Lord's army. After he subjugated her with a unique magic, she vowed to become his wife, and Flio accepted her. Their relationship is a central pillar of the story, developing into a genuine, wholesome romance where Flio respects her and reciprocates her feelings, which is a refreshing dynamic for this type of narrative. He also forms a household with other characters, including the knight Balirossa, the sly magical being Hiya, and the dark sorceress Tama, with whom he lives a chaotic but largely content domestic life.

Flio's development throughout the story is less about gaining power and more about understanding its implications and deciding how to wield it. He grows from a confused man who thought he was weak into a being who is fully aware that he is the strongest in the world. His journey involves learning to balance his immense, cheat-like abilities with his desire for a peaceful, chillin life, and he matures by choosing a path of non-intervention in the war between humans and demons, preferring to protect only his immediate circle of friends and family.

His most notable ability is the infinite value of all his status parameters, which grants him practical invincibility and limitless magical power. This power is not just immense but is conceptually absolute, allowing him to easily overpower foes that terrify entire kingdoms. Beyond raw strength, he is also proficient in transformation magic, which he uses to maintain his disguise as Flio. Among his vast array of spells, one of the first he demonstrated was a unique form of enslavement magic, which he used on Fenrys, though the nature of this ability and how he uses it evolves with his character and his relationship with her.
