Description
Meguru Bachira is a distinctive character from the Blue Lock 2nd Season, known for his unconventional approach to football and his vibrant personality. As a seventeen-year-old forward, Bachira stands at 176 centimeters tall and has a slim build. He has brown or black hair with distinctive golden highlights that frame his face in a bob cut, complemented by bright yellow eyes. Bachira was born on August 8, making his zodiac sign Leo, and his blood type is AB. His hometown is the Chiba Prefecture, and he comes from a single-parent household, living with his mother who is a painter and has been a significant source of encouragement for him throughout his life.

Bachira possesses an eccentric and whimsical personality, characterized by his boundless energy, enthusiasm, and a cheerful demeanor that rarely falters, even during intense matches. He approaches football as a source of pure joy and fun. This carefree nature often manifests in unusual habits, such as falling asleep at unexpected moments, including during team meetings, meals, or even at the start of a test. Another of his peculiar traits is his tendency to appear completely unclothed after training sessions or matches. Despite his often sleepy and relaxed attitude, Bachira is deeply perceptive and acts on strong, instinctual impulses. He views freedom as essential and dislikes having it taken away. Bachira is not academically inclined, struggles with memorization, and readily admits to having no strong school subjects.

The core of Bachira's character is his relationship with an inner entity he calls "the monster." As a child, Bachira's natural talent and unique, free-flowing playing style were misunderstood by his peers, leading to bullying and exclusion. To cope with the resulting loneliness, he created an imaginary friend, a "monster," with whom he would play football. His mother encouraged him to listen to this inner voice, which became his primary motivator and guide on the field. For much of his life, Bachira sought a rival or teammate who also possessed a "monster" inside, someone who could understand his way of playing. Upon entering the Blue Lock project, he immediately sensed a similar quality in teammate Yoichi Isagi. His initial goal was to find companions like Isagi, which helped him begin to overcome his childhood trauma. As he progresses, Bachira's goal evolves. He resolves to step out of the shadow of his monster and Isagi's influence, deciding to become more confident and dominant. His new ambition is to become the best striker in the world, playing for himself and only passing to those who can excite him and match his level of play.

Bachira's relationship with Yoichi Isagi is the most significant in his development. He is immediately drawn to Isagi, believing him to be kindred spirit, and their partnership becomes a cornerstone of Team Z's strategy. Through their connection, Bachira begins to heal from his past loneliness. He also forms casual friendships with other notable Blue Lock players, including Rin Itoshi, Hyoma Chigiri, and Rensuke Kunigami, despite his unusual demeanor.

Bachira's most notable ability is his world-class dribbling. His technique is characterized as elastic, creative, and unpredictable, allowing him to break through defenses with ease. He has a vast repertoire of skills, including the Hyperspeed Scissors, Marseille Turn, Midair Elastico, Rabona, and an ability to perform a nutmeg on multiple opponents in succession. He is also a highly skilled passer, capable of delivering precise key passes, such as high-speed ground passes, long-range backspin passes, and no-look passes. His signature attack is the Bee Shot, a quick, close-range shot after a swift combination play. When entering a state of flow, known as "being in the zone," Bachira accesses a trance-like state called "Monstrance," where he moves on pure instinct, performing incredibly rapid feints and techniques that become almost impossible for defenders to predict. During the Neo Egoist League, he refines his style further, moving from a proactive dribbling approach to a more reactive one, reading opponents' movements before attacking, and blending his explosive style with the free-flowing philosophy of FC Barcha, where he plays as a center forward.
