Description
Hydargos, known as Blaki in the original Japanese version, is a captain serving as a key officer in the Vegan Empire's assault forces under the direct command of Minos. As a member of the military hierarchy, he is tasked with leading Earth invasion operations and directing planetary attacks from his flagship saucer.
In terms of appearance, Hydargos is an extraterrestrial with a distinctly non-human look, though he makes an awkward attempt to disguise himself as a human in one episode. His personality is marked by sycophantic flattery toward his superior Minos, complimenting strategies while simultaneously threatening dissenters. He possesses an explosive temper, quick to draw a weapon on anyone who criticizes him. Hydargos is ruthlessly ambitious, prioritizing personal glory in defeating Grendizer over broader Vegan Empire strategies or alliances.
