Operator 21O, pronounced two-one-oh, is a communications operator serving the YoRHa android forces, stationed permanently aboard the orbital base known as the Bunker. Her primary duties are relaying orders, directives, and tactical information from headquarters to YoRHa soldiers operating on the ground, as well as performing information analysis in support of field missions. She is specifically assigned to support the scanner unit YoRHa No. 9 Type S, known as 9S, acting as his dedicated rear-support operator during his missions.
In personality, 21O is calm, level-headed, and composed, with a stricter and more impersonal manner than many of the other operators. She is cool and professional in her transmissions, favoring discipline and efficiency, and she tends to keep an emotional distance when dealing with 9S. Beneath her reserved exterior, however, there is a quieter layer of concern for the androids she watches over; her professionalism conceals a subtle, unspoken care for those under her charge.
