Description
Anna Aveiro is a first-year student at Omemaebashi High School and a central figure in her friend group. She was born and raised in Brazil to a Japanese mother, and her full name is Anna Aveiro Nakamura dos Santos Moreira Cuccittini. Her birthday is April 1st, and she stands 165cm tall with blood type O. Her heritage and upbringing are a major part of her identity, reflected in her warm, physical, and outgoing nature.

In terms of personality, Anna is exceptionally energetic, assertive, and blunt, often expressing her thoughts without hesitation. She acts as a mood maker and catalyst for the group, known for being loud and having little concept of personal space by Japanese standards, such as greeting friends with kisses on the cheek. While this exuberance can be perceived as overwhelming, it stems from a genuine and open-hearted desire to connect with others. Her motivations are driven by a love for her community and a need for connection. Initially, she is keen on creating content for her online video channel, but a deeper motivation is revealed through her fierce determination to save a local record store, Stout Records, which holds immense sentimental value for her.

Anna's role in the story is to be the unifying force that brings the other main characters together. She is instrumental in forming their cheerleading group and often serves as the driving force behind their activities and projects. Her key relationships include a very close friendship with her classmate Nodoka Ohtani, who was her first friend in Japan and often acts as a grounding presence for her. She also shares a significant bond with YJ, the elderly owner of the record store where she works part-time, who served as a mentor figure during a difficult period in her life. Her relationships with the other girls, including Kanata Misora, are built on mutual support as they work together as a team.

Anna undergoes notable development throughout the story. It is revealed that she was not always so outgoing; after the death of her father, she became withdrawn, angry, and prone to using her capoeira skills to fight those who gossiped about her. Her regular visits to the record store and the encouragement from YJ helped her come out of her shell, learn to communicate with others, and eventually make her first friend, Nodoka. This backstory adds depth to her present-day actions, particularly her seemingly childish tantrum and desperate attempts to save the store from closing, as it represents a cornerstone of her personal growth. Her abilities include capoeira, which she learned for self-defense, and she is also skilled in music production.
