Description
Kagerō is a male character from the anime The New Gate. He is known to be a subspecies of the sacred beast Grulphazio, a type of divine beast. Kagerō was brought from a sacred mountain by the character Schnee Raizar after Shin sought a horse for his carriage.

Personality and background are deeply intertwined for Kagerō. When he was young, his mother was killed by adventurers, leaving him to wander alone. During this time, he was rescued by the elf Tiera Lucent. This past event is the cornerstone of his character. Because an elf saved him, he retains a clear memory of the incident and holds very little suspicion or wariness toward elves in general. He is particularly attached to Tiera, his benefactor. This attachment is so significant that after learning of this history, Schnee Raizar dissolved her partnership contract with Kagerō, allowing Tiera Lucent to form a new contract and become his proper partner.

Kagerō possesses several notable abilities that set him apart from a standard Grulphazio. As a subspecies that has surpassed the normal limits of its species, his combat prowess is quite high. He has unique powers that are different from the original sacred beast, including the ability to alter his physical size and the power to hide or move within shadows.
