Description
Heath Lott is a character from the anime Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, where he serves as a young knight of the Neo Britannian Empire. He holds the title of Weiss Knight, also known as the White Knight, within the Einberg knightly order.

In terms of background, Heath is one of the youngest members to be selected into the ranks of the Einberg, though he is noted to be relatively inexperienced compared to his peers. Despite his youth, he is entrusted with significant responsibilities, which reflects the high expectations placed upon him. Physically, he is a young man with distinctive purple hair and brown eyes, and his appearance is often noted as youthful.

Heath Lott is characterized by a strong ambition and an eagerness to prove his worth. A key aspect of his personality is his intense rivalry with a fellow Einberg knight, Arnold Renk, who is known as the Black Knight. This competitive drive motivates much of his early conduct, as he seeks to match the accomplishments of his rival. However, beneath this ambitious exterior, Heath possesses a fragile and insecure disposition. He becomes easily overwhelmed and loses confidence when facing critical situations or significant failure, revealing a vulnerability that contrasts sharply with his initial eagerness.

Heath's role in the story is primarily defined by a single, crucial mission failure. Following the death of Arnold Renk, the Einberg order launches a large-scale crackdown on resistance groups. Heath is assigned to lead an attack on the secret base of the Seven Radiant Stars in the city of Otaru. However, he falls victim to a clever strategy devised by the protagonists, Rozé and Ash. By the time Heath and his squad arrive, the resistance fighters have already escaped. His unit is then lured into a warehouse rigged with explosives, resulting in heavy casualties among his forces.

Although Heath manages to escape the explosion physically unharmed, the shame of his defeat becomes an insurmountable burden. His key relationships come to a head following this failure. He is forced to report to his superior, Noland von Lüneberg, the leader of the Einberg. Heath attempts to excuse his defeat by blaming the enemy for fighting with dishonorable tricks, but this justification finds no sympathy in the brutal context of war. Noland, viewing Heath’s conduct as a disgrace, rejects him and dismisses him from the Einberg’s service.

This dismissal represents a profound and utter humiliation, effectively casting him out into a hostile warzone without the support of his order. The development of Heath Lott's character is a rapid descent from ambitious young knight to a figure of despair. Overwhelmed by hopelessness and fear following his rejection and public failure, he completely loses his mental balance. In a private room, he breaks down in tears and ultimately takes his own life with his service pistol.

Regarding his abilities, Heath Lott is a Knightmare Frame pilot. His personal machine is named the Freypnir. This unit is built on the same base model as Arnold Renk's Valpnir, but it is specifically optimized for long-range combat. Unlike the close-combat focus of his rival's unit, Heath’s Freypnir is equipped with two rifles, reflecting his preferred fighting style of engaging enemies from a distance.
