Description
Adam Rockwell, known as the hero Century, is a prominent figure representing the United States within the world of heroes. He is a thirty-six-year-old man with a serious and disciplined personality, born on November 11th. Standing 182 centimeters tall and weighing 85 kilograms, he has a muscular build, which he maintains through a dedicated love for training and physical conditioning. Beyond his heroic duties, he is an active military officer holding the rank of colonel, a role that contributes to his strong sense of duty and leadership abilities.
Century possesses a calm and professional demeanor, often appearing cool and stoic in public settings. He takes his responsibilities as a hero very seriously and has a high sense of pride in his work. This seriousness is evident in his interactions with other heroes; for instance, during a strategy meeting, he confiscates a cigar from the hero Davie and a drink from Pepesha to ensure they focus on the critical matter at hand. However, this professional exterior contrasts sharply with his private life, where he reveals a deeply affectionate side as a doting father who adores his young daughter. Among his personal preferences, he has a particular fondness for children and the dish chili con carne.
His role in the story is defined by his strategic mind and leadership. He is one of the heroes who displays early and persistent vigilance against the antagonistic group known as Amarariruku and its leader, Stigma. During the critical Tokyo recovery arc, which involves a mysterious dark dome appearing over the city, Century is called to Space HQ along with other heroes to formulate a response. Demonstrating a cautious and tactical approach, he agrees with fellow hero Stardust that they should act with care, a position that contrasts with the more impulsive desire of the young Japanese hero, Shy, to immediately rush in and rescue civilians. Unilord, the supervisor of the Earth's heroes, entrusts Century with the crucial role of leading the standby team, placing heroes like Spirit and Stardust under his command while Shy leads the infiltration team. When Shy asks him to set a time limit for her mission so his team can intervene if something goes wrong, he agrees but makes her promise to return alive no matter what, showcasing his concern for his allies. Later, when Stardust is badly injured, Century insists on going with him to infiltrate the dome rather than allowing him to proceed alone.
In terms of abilities, Century has the power to manipulate gravity, a formidable skill that he uses in combat and rescue operations. Using devices known as his Heart-Shift Bracelets, he can control gravitational forces around him, and like his colleague Spirit, he is also capable of flight.
