Ikelos is the deity head of the Ikelos Familia in Orario, possessing dark blue hair and eyes, brown skin, and an average height with a youthful appearance often described as being in his prime. His unconventional sense of justice is driven primarily by personal amusement rather than moral principles, and he explicitly avoids responsibility for his Familia's actions, denying affiliation when confronted.
Under his leadership, the Ikelos Familia engaged in illegal monster trafficking and poaching within the Dungeon, specifically targeting intelligent monsters known as the Xenos. Their pursuit led them to ambush and capture the vouivre Wiene and her companions. The familia operated from a hidden base in the man-made labyrinth Knossos, a project they were compelled to continue due to an ancestral curse placed on their captain, Dix Perdix, by the architect Daedalus.
The capture of Wiene triggered a retaliatory attack by the Xenos on the human settlement Rivera, located on the Dungeon's 18th floor. This event forced the Guild to seal the Dungeon and dispatch the Ganesha Familia to intervene. Their activities also drew suspicion from other gods, including Hermes, who suspected ties to the rogue Evilus sect.
After the defeat of Dix Perdix by Bell Cranel and the Xenos, and the failure of their operations, Ikelos was held accountable by the Guild for his children's actions and permanently exiled from Orario.
