Description
Oga is a supporting character in the anime Plus-Sized Elf. She is an ogre from another world who came to Earth because of the quality of its alcohol, and her fondness for human alcoholic drinks has left her somewhat out of shape, giving her a beer belly. To counter this, she regularly visits the sauna at a local public bathhouse, often spending long periods of time there. Her tolerance for heat is notable; she can sit comfortably in a sauna set to the highest temperature. When the elf Elfuda and the dark elf Kuroeda investigate rumors of a female oni in the sauna, they are met with a wave of boiling hot steam that Oga herself does not mind at all, which marks her first appearance in the story. She is tall and muscular, standing roughly 216 centimeters, with a large bust and hair that covers the right side of her face. Despite her fierce and physically imposing appearance, she is extremely fond of children and has strong maternal instincts whenever she is around them. Her personality blends an intimidating ogre presence with a warm, nurturing side, and her motivations are straightforward: she enjoys Earth's alcohol, regrets the weight it adds, and uses sauna sessions as her preferred way of managing it. In the larger story, she is a recurring supporting figure among the fantasy beings from another world who now live in modern Japan, and her connection to other characters often comes through the bathhouse setting, beginning with the encounter that follows the rumors of the female oni. Her development is modest, centered on the ongoing balance between indulgence and her efforts to slim down rather than on major personal change, and her defining traits remain her extreme heat resistance, her physically formidable build, and her gentle, protective affection for children.
