Description
Konatsu Taiga is the younger sister of Ryuji Taiga and a middle school student within the world of Senpai is an Otokonoko. She has known Makoto Hanaoka since childhood, giving her a long-term perspective on the group’s dynamics. Her personality is a blend of cheerfulness and mischievousness, yet she is notably mature for her age and possesses a sharp, dry wit. She is highly perceptive, often providing blunt, unfiltered commentary on the emotional melodrama unfolding around her, particularly regarding her brother’s romantic feelings and the complex love triangle he is entangled in. Unlike many characters, she treats Makoto’s cross-dressing with completely casual acceptance.

Her primary motivation stems from her role within the Taiga household; she is deeply observant of her brother’s emotional state and actively works to support him. She quickly deduces his undisclosed romantic feelings for Makoto and consistently uses her intuition to challenge him, forcing him to confront truths he would rather ignore. Her relationship with Makoto is defined by mutual respect and a straightforward honesty, as she offers him unfiltered advice regarding his social and familial conflicts. With Saki Aoi, she recognizes the transformative energy Saki brings into her brother’s life.

Throughout the narrative, Konatsu develops from a passive observer on the periphery of the main love triangle into an active emotional pillar within her family. Her primary ability is her keen emotional intelligence and sharp intuition, which allow her to perceive unspoken tensions and serve as a grounded foil during moments of high drama. Her presence often cuts through the indecisiveness of the main trio, acting as a catalyst for them to achieve greater emotional clarity and personal growth.
