Description
Lily Amane is the female lead of the series. She is an angel dispatched to Earth on a covert mission to hunt demons and protect the interests of Heaven. To blend in, she assumes the identity of a high school transfer student, presenting herself as a gifted half-Japanese, half-foreigner who recently lived abroad. In this public persona, she appears smart, polite, kind, and generous, earning her a reputation among classmates as a short and cute girl with a great personality. However, her true nature is far more calculating, arrogant, and forceful. She is haughty and domineering, viewing demons as enemies to be eliminated or controlled.
Her primary motivation is to serve Heaven’s cause by neutralizing demon threats. When she first encounters the demon Masatora Akutsu, who is also undercover as a student, she swiftly defeats him and places a magical collar around his neck that forces him to obey her commands. Initially, she treats him as a mere tool to be used for her own objectives, which include reforming Heaven from within. As the story progresses, her feelings for Masatora begin to shift; despite her embarrassment and frustration, she gradually develops genuine romantic feelings for him, which complicate her mission and force her to confront her own vulnerabilities.
