Description
Lall is a central figure in the anime KamiErabi GOD.app, first appearing as a mysterious, imp-like creature with dark skin, a single horn, very long white hair, blue or green eyes, and elf-like ears. She is always seen floating in the air. Initially, Lall materializes before the main protagonist, Goro Ono, after he uses the ability known as the Scripture of the Fool. She serves as a catalyst for this power, supporting its activation but cannot wield the ability herself. Her early demeanor is rough-mouthed and blunt, yet she displays fierce loyalty toward Goro from the moment they meet.
Lall’s personality is marked by a combination of abrasiveness and protective devotion. She often speaks without filter, but her actions consistently reveal a deep commitment to Goro’s wellbeing. Her primary motivation is to find and protect Goro, a goal that becomes more poignant as the story unfolds. In the second season, it is revealed that Lall is actually Goro’s long-lost younger sister, Lall Ono. She was born after Goro disappeared from their family, and she entered the divine selection contest specifically to find him and bring him back. This backstory reshapes understanding of her earlier actions: her seemingly harsh words mask a sibling’s desperate love and determination.
Within the narrative, Lall acts as Goro’s guardian and companion throughout the battle-royale-style competition for godhood. Her role evolves from a mysterious, almost supernatural assistant to a fully realized character with personal stakes. Her key relationship is with Goro, but she also interacts with other god candidates, often assessing threats and offering tactical advice. Over the course of the series, Lall develops from an enigmatic, imp-like being into a more human-seeming figure, both physically and emotionally; in Season 2, she takes on a more human appearance and becomes one of the main protagonists.
Lall’s notable abilities are tied to the Scripture of the Fool. She enables Goro to use this power, which can alter cause, effect, and reality at the cost of bringing misfortune upon him. She cannot activate the ability on her own, but her presence is essential for Goro to wield it effectively. Later, she also demonstrates the ability to participate in the conflict directly, showing growth in her own capacity to fight.
