Description
Juri Saijō is a 17-year-old idol affiliated with 283 Production, and she is a member of the unit Houkago Climax Girls. Hailing from Kanagawa Prefecture, she stands 160 centimeters tall and has a boyish, cool appearance with short blonde hair. Her birthday is November 26th, and her blood type is O. She is right-handed.

On the surface, Juri presents a tough and intimidating demeanor. Her manner of speaking is notably rough and blunt, which often leads others to feel afraid of her or assume she has a delinquent personality. However, this initial impression is misleading, as her true nature is that of a pure-hearted and incredibly kind individual. She has a strong desire to help and support her friends, but she becomes shy and easily embarrassed whenever her own kindness is pointed out or praised. This difficulty with being emotionally honest is a core aspect of her personality.

Juri was initially very skeptical about becoming an idol, feeling that she did not fit the image or have the right qualities for the profession. Her early response to the idea, both internally and to the producer, was one of doubt, questioning whether she could possibly look the part. It was the producer's encouragement to simply be herself that allowed her to embrace the role, and she eventually came to love being an idol for who she truly is.

Within the story, Juri plays a supportive and grounding role, particularly within her unit. Her genuine kindness manifests in concrete actions, such as helping her fellow unit member Chiyoko Sonoda search for her own unique individuality. She has also been shown helping Kaho Komiya with her homework. Drawing from her childhood, during which she watched tokusatsu programs with her older brother, Juri created a tokusatsu theatrical presentation at the office, demonstrating her creative and playful side. She lives in the 283 Production dorms.

Juri's key relationships are with the other members of Houkago Climax Girls, which include Kaho Komiya, Chiyoko Sonoda, Natsuha Arisugawa, and Rinze Morino. She serves as a reliable and often protective presence for the group, offering support in both their professional endeavors and personal struggles.

Her development as an idol is closely tied to her overcoming her initial self-doubt. She transitions from believing she has no place in the industry to confidently pursuing her career as herself, rather than trying to conform to a conventional idol mold. Her journey involves learning to be more open with her feelings and accepting that her rough-around-the-edges personality is a valid and charming part of her idol identity.

Regarding her abilities, Juri is naturally athletic and was initially a basketball player. She had to quit the sport against her will due to an injury sustained during a game. Despite this setback, her physical prowess remains a notable skill. Her hobbies include listening to Western music and playing games, though she is notably behind the times when it comes to technology. She is skilled in sports and basketball in particular, but is not very adept with modern gadgets and electronics.
