Description
Nichov, also known as Dora-nichov, is a cat-like robot and a member of the Doraemons, a group of seven robotic cats from the Robot School who are each based on Doraemon and come from different cultural backgrounds. He is one of the holders of the Bestfriend Telecard, a device that allows the group to summon each other in times of need, and is often described as the most mysterious member of the team. Despite being the second smartest among the Doraemons, behind Wang Dora, Nichov is very reserved and quiet. He is extremely sensitive to the cold, which leads him to use a four-dimensional muffler covering his face as an alternative to the standard fourth-dimensional pocket. This muffler likely serves as his primary gadget storage and is a distinctive part of his appearance. He tends to be taciturn, communicating largely through gestures or growls, yet he can display a cheerful personality, especially when discussing things he loves. In the short film The Doraemons: Doki Doki Wildcat Engine, Nichov serves as a supporting member of the team. The story revolves around the Doraemons being tasked with delivering an energy source by train to restore power to their city within a two-hour limit, while facing interference from the antagonist Dr. Achimov. Nichov’s role in this mission involves using his abilities to aid the group. He possesses a notable transformation called Super Wolfman, a superhero form in which he takes on a werewolf-like appearance, wears a cape, and dons a suit with a W emblem, similar to Superman’s. This form highlights his combat capabilities and willingness to protect others. Within the group, Nichov maintains close bonds with his fellow Doraemons, though his reserved nature often keeps him in the background. His development across the series is subtle, as he remains consistent in his quiet reliability and intellectual contributions. Overall, Nichov is characterized by his intelligence, low-key demeanor, sensitivity to cold, and a hidden heroic side that emerges when needed.
